Our Story

Hidden Hills Waterville is a family-run farm, passed down through generations. Nestled in the hills overlooking Waterville, farming here has always been about working with nature, not against it.
Owners Timothy, his wife Kitty, and their daughter Sinéad dedicate themselves to managing their farm. What began as a traditional hill farm has slowly evolved into a place where visitors are welcomed into everyday farm life. It’s not a polished tourist attraction — it’s a real working farm. Guests meet the animals, see sheepdog at work, and experience the rural Kerry exactly as it is.
Hidden Hills exists to keep traditions alive, to connect people with the land, and to offer an honest glimpse into life on a Kerry hill farm.

Timothy’s lifelong experience supports the farm’s work, while Kitty guarantees everything runs smoothly. Sinéad’s passion for hospitality makes every visit welcoming for guests.

Visitors are welcomed into a real working Irish farm, offering a rare chance to meet locals and enjoy an authentic, non-touristy experience.
Meet our sheepdogs!
Each one has their own personality and they take their job of herding sheep very seriously… some more than others.
Rose – Our superstar sheepdog: chill, focused, and always ready for action. At 13, she’s a semi-retired dog who has spent more hours with the flock than most humans spend binge-watching TV. Off duty, she lounges like a queen.
Sally – Fast and steady, Sally is a natural-born shepherd who keeps the flock in line. Fetch is her favorite pastime, and she radiates playful energy. Plus, she’s Spot’s daughter and Rose’s niece!
Ross – The youngest team member with bright ginger hair and boyish charm. He’s still learning the ropes and has boundless energy.
Spot – Sharp and bursting with personality. She’s the official cheerleader, full of lively chaos but selective about when she works!
